Our Team
Marcus Boniface
Farm manager
Marcus has been a key part of Culworth Grounds for nearly 7 years, bringing with him a wealth of hands-on experience — from 8 years on a large arable farm to time spent in an ironworks before that.
He now oversees operations across the 2,000-acre Culworth Grounds farm, as well as managing 1,000 acres on the Exning Estate in Newmarket for Belport Estates.
When he's not managing the land, Marcus can be found helping run his 200-acre family farm alongside his wife Rosie and their two daughters, Esme and Zara — a traditional setup with arable fields and a suckler herd of cattle.
Marcus is often accompanied by his black lab, Bruno — a familiar face on the farm, even if his hearing isn’t always reliable.
freddie richards
assistant Farm manager
Freddie first joined us at Culworth Grounds in 2019, before heading off to study Agriculture with Farm Business Management at harper Adams University. After graduating, he spent a season contracting in New Zealand’s North Island gaining hands-on experience and a fresh perspective on farming.
Freddie re-joined the team in June 2025. Alongside previous experience on UK arable farms, Freddie brings a well-rounded and practical approach to his work. His favourite time of year is during harvest.
Looking ahead, Freddie hopes to keep building his career in the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys shooting, sailing, playing golf, and watching rugby.

Tom is keen on the idea of working abroad in the future, but for now he is focused on building his skills and experience here at Culworth Grounds.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys being sociable and going to watch the rugby.
