Marcus Boniface

Farm manager

Marcus has previously worked at a large arable outfit as Sprayer Operator, Combine Driver and Potato Harvester Driver, and also in an iron works before joining the team at Culworth Grounds as a Combine/ Sprayer Driver in January 2019. He has now landed his dream job as our Farm Manager.

Hockey is his favourite sport, he represented the county at youth standard. He also loves watching the rugby and anything related to motorbikes.

Tom Brazier

Farm Worker

Tom has had an unconventional path to his role here at Culworth Grounds as Farm Worker having spent many years in the eventing world. During his varied career in agriculture Tom has worked on Cornwall’s largest daffodil farm, a potato farm and spent time working for a contractor. A career highlight for Tom was looking after Chilli Morning whilst working for Nick Gauntlett and though his role here on the farm means he is most often in a tractor he can occasionally be found on the back of a horse!

Ed Ellis

Farm Worker

Ed has been a part of the Culworth Grounds team for around 5 years, joining full time in 2023. Before joining Culworth Grounds Ed gained experience working on a number of local farms and at Honisberie shooting school.

Ed particularly enjoys baling and mowing and away from work he loves to spend time skiing and shooting.

Lauren Skewes

account manager

Whilst gaining her BSc in Agriculture at RAU Cirencester, Lauren did a GAP year at Little Avondale Stud (NZ). She then joined our office team in October 2021.

She was born in Cornwall, used to play netball and practiced gig rowing. Lauren owns two horses herself and her spaniel Flo who is a regular in the office!
