Marcus Boniface

Farm manager

Marcus has previously worked at a large arable outfit as Sprayer Operator, Combine Driver and Potato Harvester Driver, and also in an iron works before joining the team at Culworth Grounds as a Combine/ Sprayer Driver in January 2019. He has now landed his dream job as our Farm Manager.

Hockey is his favourite sport, he represented the county at youth standard. He also loves watching the rugby and anything related to motorbikes.

Tom has had an unconventional path to his role here at Culworth Grounds as Assistant Farm Manager having spent many years in the eventing world. During his varied career in agriculture Tom has worked on Cornwall’s largest daffodil farm, a potato farm and spent time working for a contractor.

A career highlight for Tom was looking after Chilli Morning whilst working for Nick Gauntlett and though his role here on the farm means he is most often in a tractor he can occasionally be found on the back of a horse!

Charles morris

Having grown up on the family poultry farm in Cornwall focussing on egg production and packing Charles went to study agricultural engineering at Hartpury College and then automotive engineering at Truro College.

After his studies Charles spent time working on a potato and arable farm in Cornwall. Charles joined the team here at Culworth Grounds in July 2022 and particularly enjoys baling.

Tyler Still

Machine operator

Tyler joined the team in Autumn 2023 having worked on various farms since the age of 15. He then spent a brief period in engineering sales and most recently spent the previous 3 summers working on another local farm.

One thing Tyler particularly enjoys is watching the sun set from his tractor seat!

Lauren Skewes

account manager

Whilst gaining her BSc in Agriculture at RAU Cirencester, Lauren did a GAP year at Little Avondale Stud (NZ). She then joined our office team in October 2021.

She was born in Cornwall, used to play netball and practiced gig rowing. Lauren owns two horses herself and her spaniel Flo.
